Seeing as this is a new area I will make good use and say ARGH about getting to and from work.

2 buses and a 20 minute walk, which can total 90 minutes to 2 hours,  in all weathers for a journey that takes 10 minutes in a car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hence why I am buying Jim his provision licence when I get paid on Friday!!!!!

Do you not fancy learning to drive too Dawn?

The best thing I ever did (appart from marrying Gary of course) was learning to drive  Very Happy

I was about to say the same! It changes your daily life as you can get on with things like shopping a lot quicker! Andy wasn't keen to drive initially but I think he's considering it now  Very Happy

I'd be fed up with a journey like that too Dawn , hurry up and pass Jim and then you can pass too Dawn!

i wouldn't be without my car - i prefer to walk to the school (15mins) and town (20-25mins) but it's great to jump in the car if the weather is crap or if you just can't be bothered!!!!!!

God, that's a bad journey!

Mine can take upto an hour in the car on a bad day - it's a 17/18 minute drive usually though!! Unfortunately, there are no buses or anything on our route, so I have to get up and drive even if I'm poorly!

Mike's very nearly going to put in for his test though, so two drivers soon and he can take himself off to work when I'm poorly!

I cant wait for Jim to be driving - so much so I have promised to buy him a car when he passes.

I will pick and pay and he can drive it - that seems a fair deal to me.
