What do you think to this idea?

I'm hoping to make my own 'wedding book collection', so basically three photobooks (bob books or something similar), where I can design the spine of the book, so a message is spelt out across them (like Red Dwarf DVD collection etc).

I'm thinking of having a Pre-Wedding Photo book, including photos of the hen do and stag do (and mini hens I'm having), maybe some pics of us as kids and our story so far.

A Wedding Album

A Honeymoon Album

And I was thinking of pre-making a Guestbook, with a photo of each guest coming to the ceremony and evening reception from our past....so a picture of myself and cousin as toddlers, Mike and his ushers at school etc, and a space for them to write their note.

What do you think? I know I run the risk of not everyone filling in their space, but we could ask them too after. I could content page it by surname... or, we could ask people to fill out 'wishes' which we could place on the tables and put into a box which we glue into the book by their photo?

Please tell me if it's a plain rubbish idea! I might be making too much work for myself.  Just trying to make sure my guest book matches my photo albums/stationery if possible.

I think its a great idea, I dont think its too much work.

Can you be sure that your guests will find 'themselves' in the book and fill their own bit in - I dont think all of mine will.

I think it's a great idea BUT it will only work if:-
> you can get the info for EVERY guest (not as easy as it may seem)
> you have someone trustworthy to take control and take the book around

The reason why I say the above is I did something similar, did a content page at the front so people could find their spot BUT they took no notice of it and if they did write in it, most did in the wrong spots!
